So Tosin Abasi came to a scungy little suburb in Melbourne last night for a guitar clinic, which I was lucky enough to attend. He played a few tunes and answered a few questions which gave an insight into his personal influences, his timing, the way he composes his music etc. which was great and there’s nothing better than hearing him play live!

Once the clinic was over he said he’d be doing autographs and what not. Of course I rushed to get first in line for that! We had a little conversation, but I mostly blurted out how much of a fan I was and how ridiculously amazing and influencial he is in my life. In hindsight, I must have seemed like a psycho that talked way too fast but he’s such an inspiration to me, I really couldn’t help myself. Anyway, I went home soo insanely happy with a signed poster and photo of us in my possession. He is such a laid back guy I’m really surprised how humble he was about it all. It was an awesome experience and I also told him that he has more of a female fan base than he thinks, and that I would ‘spread the word’ ;)
